Tesco has today announced an exclusive deal with Dreamworks over the forthcoming release of the highly anticipated family film, Kung Fu Panda; Secrets of the Furious Five.
The spin-off to the popular animated 2008 film, Kung Fu Panda, which drew over $600m at the world wide box office, is now exclusively available on DVD through the Tesco ‘pre-order price promise’ at a price of just £5.
The new story is a response to fans’ overwhelming enthusiasm for the original film, with Dreamworks Animation delivering more of what audiences world-wide loved and adored about the set of endearing characters.
The adventure follows on f r o m the first outing, where lazy panda Po, voiced by Jack Black, bites off more than he can chew when selected as the Dragon Warrior – a wise kung fu master – and put to battle against an antagonistic snow leopard, Tai Lung.
The latest outing sees Dustin Hoffman reprise his role as Master Shifu, as he and Dragon Warrior Po must face Shifu’s toughest challenge yet; teaching Kung Fu to a group of excitable bunnies f r o m the Valley of Peace.
The astonishing visuals and kinetic Kung Fu sequences return, as the film explores the history of the fearless protectors of the Valley of Peace, which combines thrilling acts of bravery in exhilarating exploits with heart warming life lessons. It is up to Po to relay his knowledge of Kung Fu lore to his new students, passing the wisdom and secrets the furious five; Monkey, Tigress, Mantis, Viper and Crane learned on their way to becoming true Kung Fu masters.
