Carrefour to treat guests with its Reflets de France products at World French Foreign Trade Adviser Conference opening

Boulogne-Billancourt, FRANCE, 2016-Oct-08 — /EPR Retail News/ — 1000 company managers and political and economic figures from more than 80 countries will be in attendance at this year’s Mondial des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur (World French Foreign Trade Adviser Conference), being held in France for the first time in Deauville over two days.

Under the patronage of President François Hollande, France’s Prime Minister Manuel Valls and the Minister for Foreign Affairs Jean-Marc Ayrault, the theme of year’s event will be “A different world, a new France – The changing nature of risk”. It will serve as a genuine economic forum for French foreign trade, during which participants will share their experience and sketch out the finer details of the future and all the challenges it will bring.

Georges Plassat will talk about how the rest of the world views France in an interview with journalist Olivier de Lagarde.

As one of the event’s major partners, Carrefour will treat guests to a wide variety of its Reflets de France products at a lunch on 7 October.

France has more than 4000 businessmen and women serving as foreign trade advisers, all selected for their international experience. They are appointed for three-year (renewable) terms. They operate in 146 countries, volunteering their experience to help shore up France’s economic presence throughout the world. They advise state authorities, sharing their expertise with companies – SMEs in particular – raising young people’s awareness and global level and helping to promote France’s appeal for international investors.
