GnomeFrenzy is proud to announce the newest addition to its Gnome family. Dressed in pink and wearing a dress emblazoned with the ribbon signifying the fight against breast cancer, this pigtailed Gnome makes her purpose clear. She represents the hope, courage and strength known well by those who have been touched by the disease.
The Gnome is slated for availability beginning in December 2009. The gnome can be pre-ordered starting in October, in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Her arrival also heralds a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which will receive 15 percent of sales from this special figurine. The Foundation (www.nationalbreastcancer.org) works to save lives by raising awareness of breast cancer by funding free mammograms and providing educational and support services.
By introducing this statuette, GnomeFrenzy’s mission is to support the search for a cure and instill hope for the future by helping to raise awareness about breast cancer and saving lives with early detection.
“We want to make a huge impact on many people’s lives, and what good is having a business if you can’t use it to make the world a better place? More and more people every day are affected in one way or another by breast cancer. The National Breast Cancer Foundation is a wonderful organization with great people and we wanted to be a part of everything that they stand for.” said Andrew Nadler, founder of GnomeFrenzy.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Garden Gnome joins GnomeFrenzy’s collection of sports-themed and whimsical, unaffiliated Gnomes. At 11-1/4 inches tall and constructed with resin, they are perfect for gardens, patios, the home or the workplace.
