New Store Format Provides Fun and Engaging Shopping Experience
Columbus, Ohio, 2017-Nov-09 — /EPR Retail News/ — Big Lots announced today (November 7, 2017) it is celebrating the grand opening of its newest store in Grandview, Ohio, on Thursday, November 9, 2017. The store reflects a new format showcasing the Ownable and Winnable merchandise categories of Furniture, Seasonal, Soft Home, Food, and Consumables with prominent positioning in the store, and is part of a broader initiative to reposition the brand as a community retailer offering trustworthy value and friendly service.
“We’re proud to open a store in Grandview and serve the residents of the community,” stated David Campisi, CEO and President of Big Lots. “Columbus is one of two markets with the new store format which brings to life our brand principles, including our mission to serve everyone like family.”
As part of the grand-opening celebration, Big Lots will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 9 at the store located at 1451 West 5th Avenue, Columbus. Big Lots will make $5,000 donations to Grandview Heights High School, Edison Intermediate / Larson Middle School, and Stevenson Elementary School during the ceremony.
The Grandview store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
