New directors bring additional leadership, strategy and policy expertise to eBay’s Board.

Ms. Brown currently is an advisor with Intellectual Ventures, LLC, where she previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Before that, she held a number of roles at Honeywell International, Inc., including Senior Vice President, Energy Strategy, and President and Chief Executive Officer, Honeywell Transportation Systems. Prior to that, she spent nearly 20 years at Corning, Inc., where she began her career as a shift supervisor, rising to the position of Vice President and General Manager of Corning’s Environmental Products Division. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Allergan PLC. Ms. Brown earned a B.S. in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University and an M.S. in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ms. Farrell is the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer at JPMorgan Chase Institute, a global think tank. Prior to JPMorgan, and over the course of her career, she held a variety of roles at McKinsey & Company, Inc., serving as the Director and Global Head of the McKinsey Center for Government, Global Head and Director of the McKinsey Global Institute and Partner and Leader of the Global Financial Institutions and Strategy Practices, among other positions. Ms. Farrell also served as the Deputy Director of the National Economic Council and the Deputy Economic Advisor to the President under the Obama Administration. She began her career at Goldman Sachs. Ms. Farrell is a member of the Board of Trustees at Wesleyan University, the Urban Institute and the Trilateral Commission.  She earned a B.A. in the College of Social Studies and in Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Cutler has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Americas, for eBay’s Marketplace business and will continue to serve as head of StubHub while the company searches for a new leader. Mr. Lee has been appointed Senior Vice President, EMEA, and Mr. Park has been promoted to Senior Vice President, APAC, for eBay’s Marketplace business. These executives have over 30 years of combined experience at eBay.

Hal Lawton, who has been with eBay since 2015, is leaving the company to take on a senior leadership role at another company.

Mr. Cutler joined eBay in 2015 after nine years as an Executive Vice President at the New York Stock Exchange, one of the world’s largest financial marketplaces. Accelerating and maximizing the opportunity in India in partnership with Flipkart.

San Jose, CA and Bangalore, India, 2017-Apr-12 — /EPR Retail News/ — eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY), a global commerce leader, and Flipkart, a leading eCommerce company in India, have agreed to jointly pursue eCommerce opportunities in the Indian market.  In exchange for an equity stake in Flipkart, eBay will make a $500 million cash investment in and sell its eBay.in business to Flipkart.  Flipkart will own and operate the eBay.in business upon the close of the transaction. eBay and Flipkart have also entered into an exclusive agreement in which they will jointly pursue cross-border trade opportunities to make eBay’s global inventory accessible to more India consumers, while eBay’s millions of active buyers globally will have access to more unique Indian inventory provided by Flipkart.

Hundreds of eBay sellers will gather in San Jose to connect, learn and network.

Tune in for Devin Wenig’s keynote address webcast, commencing at 1:00 p.m. PDT on the 10th.

San Jose, California, 2015-9-10 — /EPR Retail News/ — eBay is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and we are also celebrating our sellers — big time. On Sept. 10-11, at the San Jose Convention Center near eBay headquarters, more than 1,000 eBay sellers will gather for our sold out Seller Summit.

“It’s been an incredible 20 years,” wrote eBay CEO Devin Wenig in a LinkedIn post. “From one seller, we grew to about 25 million.”

The Seller Summit will include unique opportunities for sellers to learn, connect and network. Specialists will be on hand to share expertise on a range of topics from shipping and returns to marketing and merchandising.  There will also be opportunities to learn about new tools and support for eBay sellers.

In addition, Devin Wenig will deliver a special address called “Growing Your Business on eBay,” and he will attend Seller Summit events.
