CANTON, Mass., 2016-Dec-09 — /EPR Retail News/ — Dunkin’ Donuts, one of the world’s leading coffee and baked goods brands, today ( December 07, 2016) announced that it has signed a master franchise agreement with Amba Daoud B.V. to begin developing Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in The Netherlands. The leaders of Amba Daoud B.V. have significant business, retail and restaurant experience in the country. The franchise agreement calls for the development of 25 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across The Netherlands over the coming years, with an initial focus on Amsterdam.

The brand announced that On-the-Go Ordering is now available exclusively for members of the Dunkin’ Donuts DD Perks® Rewards Program at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout the country. DD Perks members can order, pay in advance with a swipe of a finger on a smartphone, and then skip the line in store to pick up their favorite menu items.

With On-the-Go Ordering, DD Perks members can place a mobile order up to 24 hours in advance, select their desired location, and then simply confirm via the new Dunkin’ Donuts Mobile App when they are ready to pick up their order inside the restaurant, or at the drive-thru. The order is automatically paid for using their Dunkin’ Donuts Card within the App. In the restaurant, DD Perks Members have no need to wait, as they can skip the line in store and go straight to pick up their items at a designated area. They also have the ability to save their recent orders as a favorite to speed up their next Dunkin’ run.

To enjoy On-the-Go Ordering, DD Perks members nationwide must download the newest version of the popular Dunkin’ Donuts Mobile App, called “New Dunkin’ Donuts” in the App Store or Google Play Store. Featuring a new, contemporary touch-friendly design, the App is unique for its one-tap order functionality and visual menus. It can be downloaded for free at the App Store or Google Play Store. The agreement remains subject to GPI’s receipt of approval from the Financial Surveillance Department of the South Africa Reserve Bank. Under the agreement, GPI will develop more than 250 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants and more than 70 Baskin-Robbins shops in South Africa over the coming years, with an initial focus on Cape Town and Johannesburg. The agreement also calls for the introduction of Baskin-Robbins ice cream products to supermarket chains and convenience stores in South Africa over the next several years.

Jollibee Worldwide Pte Ltd. and Jasmine Asset Holding Ltd. joint venture to develop more than 1,400 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across China over the next 20 years

More than 1,400 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants to be developed in China as part of new joint venture between Jollibee Worldwide Pte Ltd. and Jasmine Asset Holding Ltd., a subsidiary of RRJ Capital Master Fund II, L.P.

CANTON, Mass., 2015-1-9 — /EPR Retail News/ — Dunkin’ Donuts, one of the world’s leading coffee and baked goods chains, today announced that it has signed the largest development agreement in the company’s history with the goal of expanding Dunkin’ Donuts in China. The company has entered into a long-term master franchise agreement in which Golden Cup Pte. Ltd., a joint venture between Jollibee Worldwide Pte Ltd. and Jasmine Asset Holding Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of RRJ Capital Master Fund II, L.P. (“RRJ”), will serve as the franchisee and plans to open and operate more than 1,400 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across China over the next 20 years. The joint venture has exclusive rights to expand Dunkin’ Donuts in new territories, including Beijing, Chongqing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Hong Kong, Hunan, Jiangxi, Jilin, Macau, Shanxi, Sichuan, Tianjin and Yunnan. The opening of the first restaurant is expected in Q4 2015.

The brand also offers regional items to cater to local tastes, including a lineup of Mochi Ring Donuts.

Jollibee Worldwide Pte Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation, which operates the largest food service network in the Philippines with more than 2,200 stores located in the country. Jasmine Asset Holding Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of RRJ Capital Master Fund II, L.P., which was established by RRJ Capital. In 2013, Dunkin’ Donuts signed a master franchise agreement with Fast Gourmet Group to develop the brand in Eastern China to open more than 100 restaurants in the Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Additionally in 2014, Dunkin’ Donuts signed agreements to develop in key markets including Brazil, Sweden and Austria.
