Customers Are Getting Excited About FitFlops Spring 2011 Collection

With the success of the recent Autumn/Winter collection of FitFlop Boots featuring some of the best selling styles this season, there is much talk of the hotly anticipated Spring 2011 footwear collection from FitFlop that has been previewed in the US and reviews have been extremely favourable to say the least.

FitFlop have been the top selling fitness footwear brand since their launch a few years ago with just one style of flip flop in three colours. This humble beginning for the now global toning footwear brand was quick to catch on and has a massive customer base which is increasing all the time, thanks to the regular release of gorgeous new styles which has now turned into a seasonal launch, taking the FitFlop name into new territory and placing it firmly with the big names in footwear.

The founder of the FitFlop brand is none other than Marcia Kilmore (of Bliss Spa and Soap & Glory beauty product fame) and she obviously knows a thing or two about marketing a great product and giving the customer what they want even before they knew they wanted it! Marcia and the team she employed to research and develop this toning footwear range from London’s South Bank University where the FitFlop footwear was designed and tested for over a year before it was ready to go on the market.

Since its launch its popularity has risen and continues to rise still as more and more people find the benefits of this amazing footwear far outweigh standard fashion footwear. This footwear has been strongly endorsed by the medical profession and this has been part of its strength really as it’s the Doctor’s recommendations and the reviews of real people that have made FitFlop a respected and highly-regarded item of footwear for those looking to reduce back pain, improve their posture and tone up their legs and bottoms at the same time.

Its not just the fact that this footwear can benefits the wearer, its also the fact that the FitFlop footwear looks so good too and it has clearly been a case of fashion meets fitness and it really works well. We’ve got the trainers from the big sports names like Nike and Adidas, we’ve got fashionable boots like Uggs and what FitFlop did was to fit nicely into a gap in the market that feeds both these areas, the fitness aspect is in their benefits and the way they can tone your body just by walking in them and the fashion bit comes from the fabulous range that FitFlop offer, from boots and shoes to sneakers and clogs. It really is the perfect combination and sales of these toning shoes and boots are testament to this. FitFlop and fashion go hand in hand just as FitFlop and fitness do. Perfect.

Cloggs.co.uk currently stock a full range of all the latest FitFlop styles; including the fantastic FitFlop Boots and the FitFlop Supertone.

Cloggs.co.uk Won’t Let Royal Mail Strikes Affect Delivery Times

Royal Mail is experiencing a series of one day strikes that will cripple the UK postal service, but Cloggs is determined not to let it affect delivery of shoes to its customers. Offering an alternative, free delivery service via another carrier, Cloggs.co.uk has put its customers first once again.

Just like any other online retail business, Cloggs relies completely on the UK postal service to deliver shoes and boots to its customers on time. With Royal Mail strikes posing a real threat to online traders, Cloggs.co.uk didn’t want its customers to worry unnecessarily, especially in the run up to Christmas. Cloggs’ proactive, forward thinking attitude has ensured that this will not be the case.

Even though Cloggs only use Royal Mail ‘Tracked’ services (which they have been assured by senior management at Royal Mail will remain unaffected by the strike – even if senior managers have to hand deliver them themselves), Cloggs wanted to completely reassure customers and offer them alternative delivery methods.

Instead of customers wondering when their top brand shoes and boots like the latest UGGs would show up once they have ordered, Cloggs is offering people the choice, at checkout, to opt for a Priority free delivery service via HDNL (the UK’s largest home delivery service).

It’s easy to opt for the free 1-2 day priority service via HDNL on the Cloggs.co.uk website. Whether purchasers want to buy a pair of UGG Boots like the latest UGG Bailey Button, Fitflop Boots, Dr Martens Boots and Timberland Boots, or even a pair of winter Crocs, this delivery option is selected as standard on the order summary page. All buyers have to do is fill out the details required and let Cloggs do the rest.

Cloggs Has Announced The Opening Of A New Flagship Retail Shoe Store In Birmingham

The new Midlands shoe store opened its doors in the Bull Ring Shopping Centre on September 12th, and marks a huge milestone for the company.

Until recently, Cloggs had concentrated on growing its business online. Now, the opening of the new store in the heart of the Bullring Shopping Centre will put it at the forefront of one of Europe’s largest shopping venues, alongside some of the UK’s largest brands.

Stocking all of the major brands Cloggs sells online in a state-of- the-art shop, retail customers are now able to buy UGG Boots, including all the latest must-have styles such as UGG Bailey Button and Cardy UGGs. Shoppers at the new Cloggs.co.uk Bullring store will also be able to purchase all the classic boot brands ready for the winter such as Dr Martens, Fitflop Boots and Timberland Boots.

Fans of Cloggs will also be pleased to know that the new Birmingham store is able to offer a pre-order service, next day delivery and touch screen terminals where they can view and interact with the Cloggs.co.uk website from the comfort of the shop.

Cloggs are also introducing a new MBT collection of boots and shoes, which can only be bought from the Bullring store. Commonly known by their slogan ‘The anti-shoe’, MBT is a healthy brand of footwear designed to stabilise the body by supporting the body and preventing joint and back pain.

Nick Thomas, Cloggs.co.uk Director, said:

“The opening of this flagship store is a landmark moment for us. We’ve been able to showcase our amazing selection of footwear brands in a retail environment, whereas we’ve always focused entirely on online sales before. It is a great opportunity for shoppers to get the best selection of brand-name footwear on the market at really competitive prices. In addition to all the top brands we sell, there are store exclusives such as the MBT collection and really handy pre-order and next day delivery services.”

At present the Bullring is the 10th largest shopping centre in the UK, just behind St David’s Centre in Cardiff and Liverpool One in Liverpool. Commercial activity in the Bullring dates back to the Middle Ages and – thanks to the 36.5 million visitors it attracted in its first year of opening – it’s one of the most important retail landmarks in the UK. 2000sq feet of this landmark now houses Cloggs.
