Sheetz announces the opening of its new location in Bradford, PA

ALTOONA, Pa., 2016-Nov-03 — /EPR Retail News/ — Sheetz, Inc. announces the opening of a brand new store in Bradford, PA.  This store will be the second location in McKean County PA and the 256th in the state of Pennsylvania.  The store is scheduled to open to the public on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2 Bolivar Drive, in Bradford PA.

The grand opening celebration will begin at 10:45 a.m. with our signature ribbon-cutting ceremony, where locals along with Sheetz family member Ryan Sheetz will bear witness to the last time the doors will be unlocked as the store will remain open 24/7 year round. During this festive celebration Sheetz will be offering samplings from their extensive menu, free self-serve Sheetz coffee for a limited time, and prize giveaways while supplies last.

The new store will offer award winning MTO® menu items from unique touchpoint terminals, inside seating, and a drive-thru for on-the-go convenience.  This location will also provide over thirty full and part-time job opportunities.

In true philanthropic spirit, Sheetz will be donating $2500 dollars to Special Olympics PA during the grand opening event. As a proud supporter of Special Olympics for over 20 years, Sheetz extends its support through monetary and in-kind contributions, as well as, event volunteerism.

Sheetz announces new store in Morgantown, WV, Morrisville, NC, St. Clairsville, OH, and Bethel, PA

ALTOONA, Pa., 2016-Jul-04 — /EPR Retail News/ — Sheetz, a Fortune Top 100 Best Places to Work in America, and one of America’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience store chains will add a new store in Morgantown, WV,Morrisville, NC, St. Clairsville, OH, and Bethel, PA. The new location in Morgantown, WV will be one of six in the surrounding area. On Wednesday, June 29, 2016, the new store opened its doors at 21 Asturias Avenue, Morgantown, WV.

On Thursday, June, 30, 2016 Sheetz opened two stores in Morrisville, NC at 1019 Morrisville Parkway, and in St. Clairsville, OH at 68500 Addie Way. In addition, Sheetz will open its eighth store in the county of Berks, on July, 7, 2016 in Bethel, PA at 8555 Lancaster Ave.

The new store celebrations will be an exciting time with free samples of specialty drinks, food, prizes, and giveaways. All attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in free self-serve Sheetz coffee for a limited time.

The doors will open to the public at 11 a.m., where a Sheetz family member will be there to speak and welcome the locals. Combined, the four stores will be offering 104 new full and part-time jobs through West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Ohio.

Sheetz is deeply invested in all the communities each store serves. In return, Sheetz will be donating $2500 dollars per new store to Special Olympics of West Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Sheetz has been a proud supporter of Special Olympics for over 20 years, where it aids through product, finance, and event volunteers. Sheetz is also a partner with Make-A-Wish foundation where they send over 40 families and their seriously ill children to a Walt Disney World dream vacation. PREIT announces DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream to open at Viewmont Mall in Scranton, PA

Transaction reinforces PREIT’s proficiency in proactively replacing anchors

PHILADELPHIA, 2016-Apr-12 — /EPR Retail News/ — PREIT (NYSE: PEI) today announced a lease has been executed that will bring DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream to Viewmont Mall in Scranton, PA. The dual store format concept will replace the existing Sears at the property in 90,000 square feet of space. Sears will close this July, with DICK’s Sporting Goods and Field & Stream scheduled to open for business for Holiday 2017.

Over the past several years, Viewmont Mall has been a main focus in PREIT’s strategy to upgrade the quality of its tenant mix within its portfolio. Viewmont’s remerchandising, which include the recent addition of national tenants Ulta, Buffalo Wild Wings, Forever 21 and Yankee Candle, set the stage for a second phase of redevelopment to join DICK’s Sporting Goods and Field & Stream in the near future.

The addition of DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream as a replacement for Sears also underscores PREIT’s ability to proactively replace vacant anchors. As the Company recasts its anchor mix, it continues to add value to its repositioned portfolio, expanding its dialog with key tenants and adding dynamic retail concepts to its roster.
