Nordstrom announces the launch of new activewear line for women IVY PARK

Seattle, WA, 2016-Apr-19 — /EPR Retail News/ — Today (April 14, 2016), Nordstrom, Inc. announced the arrival of IVY PARK, a new activewear line for women. Co-founded by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, the brand launched at 54 Nordstrom stores and

IVY PARK design unifies fashion and performance. The leggings appear in three lengths, the capri, which falls just under the knee; the crop, which falls on the calf; and the full length, which reaches the ankle. Each pant comes in three shapes: the I, the V and the Y, which corresponds with low rise, midrise and high rise fit, respectively.

The core of the collection is bolstered by ‘second skin’ signature pieces, including fitted tank tops with concealed, built-in sports bras, bonded, v-band structured medium impact sports bras, seamless knits and body suits. The line also features logo sweatshirts, cotton jersey tanks and tees, basketball mesh over-sized T-shirts and tank tops that appear in both black and white.

IVY PARK merchandise sold at Nordstrom ranges in price from $14 for a headband to $265 for a body suit.

Nordstrom has been the retail partner of choice for brands such as Topshop, Topman and Madewell, which have exclusive U.S. distribution through the retailer.

Sir Philip Green: Retail Acquisitions Ltd takes over BHS Group Ltd

London, 2015-3-17 — /EPR Retail News/ — Sir Philip Green announces that BHS Group Ltd has been acquired by Retail Acquisitions Ltd with control passing today.

Sir Philip says: “I am pleased that we have found a buyer in Retail Acquisitions Ltd who wants to develop the BHS brand. Having acquired the business nearly 15 years ago in May 2000, one of my clear objectives in identifying a purchaser was ensuring their desire to take the business forward.

The business is handed over in a sound financial position with significant cash balances and banking facilities in place. I am confident that Retail Acquisitions Limited have a platform to grow the business and return it to profitability.

Most of the senior management have been with BHS for a long time and know the business very well – I am confident that they will work seamlessly with the new owners to achieve the very best for BHS.”
