The Tunisian government and the UK-based company Hygiene Worldwide are working together to provide a range of unique, world-leading hygiene products throughout the Tunisian Public Health Service. Successful implementation will further promote Tunisian economic growth with the establishment of Tunisia as a major distribution and production hub.
Following the successful conclusion of talks, held between the 16-18 th January 2012 in Tunis, senior Tunisian Government ministers and directors of UK-based company Hygiene Worldwide are soon to finalise a landmark agreement which will place Tunisia’s public health service at the ‘cutting edge’ of public hygiene standards worldwide – spearheading something of a ‘hygiene revolution’.
Hygiene Worldwide are to provide ‘Genie’ – a world-leading range of hygiene products, without rival in their field, eradicating germ activity by killing up to 99.999999% of known pathogens. The Tunisian public health service will have access to this breakthrough range of alcohol-free products which has the ability to kill bacteria, viruses, fungi, mould and yeast-based infections significantly more effectively and faster than products currently available.
Hygiene Worldwide’s range is possibly now the most accredited disinfectant sanitizer on the market having been extensively tested over a seven year period at NHS hospitals in the United Kingdom and leading accredited European laboratories. Following successful testing to the Tunisian Health Department’s own stringent standards and subsequent approval, ‘Genie’ will be officially launched across the public health sector in Tunisia.
It is anticipated that a formal North African product launch event will take place in Tunisia in early March 2012 (dates tba).
The launch and implementation of ‘Genie’ in Tunisia and neighbouring North African countries will further provide a boost to Tunisian economic growth and development with the establishment of a major distribution and production centre within Tunisia. It is envisaged that this key centre will provide employment opportunities in the distribution, implementation, training and manufacturing sectors within 12 months of establishing Hygiene Worldwide’s presence in Tunisia.
Khalid Mahmood, Managing Director (Hygiene Worldwide)- “Our recent talks with distinguished members of the new Tunisian Government could not have been more positive. We are all equally committed to providing the very highest standards in public health care and Hygiene Worldwide are proud to be able to work together with the new Tunisian government as they implement these significant improvements. This is a very exciting time for all concerned.”
