Located in Valhalla, NY, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center is the children’s hospital for New York’s Hudson Valley region and Fairfield County, CT.  It provides lifesaving and life-changing care to thousands of local children each year, including those in need of open heart surgery, brain surgery, cancer treatment, trauma and burn care, organ transplants and more.

“Thanks to our hardworking associates and generous customers, this campaign was successful in raising both awareness and funds to support the tremendous work this organization provides to local families each year,” said Sarada Bernstein, Manager of Community Affairs and Nutrition Services for ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. “We are honored to stand beside Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in their mission to help others and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future.”

“Our mission is to provide the very best in advanced pediatric care to the children of the Hudson Valley and beyond.  The recognition of our mission’s importance by ShopRite and its customers is evidenced by the support shown to our institution during the Together for Our Children campaign,” remarked Michael Gewitz, M.D., Physician-in-Chief, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. “On behalf of the staff of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and the children and families who benefit from our services, I would like to thank everyone involved for their generosity and thoughtfulness.”
