Colin Yankee appointed Senior Vice President, Distribution and Logistics Tractor Supply Company

BRENTWOOD, TN, 2015-11-20 — /EPR Retail News/ — Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), the largest rural lifestyle retail store chain in the United States, today announced that Colin Yankee has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Distribution and Logistics.

In this role, Mr. Yankee will be responsible for management of all transportation and distribution center activities for Tractor Supply Company, as well as the distribution center growth strategy and continuous improvement of supply chain operational efficiencies. Mr. Yankee will report directly to Steve Barbarick, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, whose responsibilities now include Distribution and Logistics, in addition to Merchandising, Marketing, Inventory Management and Omni-Channel.

Prior to joining Tractor Supply Company, Mr. Yankee was Vice President, Logistics for Neiman Marcus. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Senior Director, Distribution and Transportation for Target Corporation, where he began as Production Planner and Operations Manager in 2004. Before 2004, he served as a Cavalry Officer, Captain in the United States Army. Mr. Yankee earned a Bachelor of Science, Engineering Degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, and a Master of Science, Supply Chain Management Degree from Michigan State University.
