Similar to a scouting merit badge, the Summer Camp collection features “Camp Wolf & Augie” patch branding named after two of Ellen’s furry family members. The badge-like brand can be spotted throughout the collection, which also features classic plaid and jacquard-inspired patterns.

Campsite Comfort – Summer camp brings back memories of cots and sleeping bags, but who says Fido needs to sacrifice comfort while camping? The Camp Hut Pet Bed, featuring a “pup tent” design, provides solitude and comfort with a soft, removable plaid cushion.  Ideal for dogs under 15 pounds, the bed provides pups a dark, quiet place to rest.

Summer Camp Toys – Mimicking the camping gear of their human family members, dogs can now have their own version of summer camp fun. The GapKids x ED campaign features six young girls who have excelled at skateboarding, drumming, robotics and entrepreneurialism, by being true to themselves, regardless of naysayers or outdated stereotypes. These girls, Alexey, Relz, Ryann, Bellatreas, Torrae and Asia, ranging in age from 7 to 12, star in the anthem film and campaign images which all provoke a feeling of strength, empowerment and pure enjoyment. Well beyond stores, Gap is aiming to create an environment of positive social engagement.    Using the hashtag #heyworld followed by a name, a girl’s friend, mother, father or mentor can issue a call to action for social messages of encouragement and love to any girl in need of positive support, cheering her on through the power of positive words. In addition, there will be a texting opportunity to receive inspiring and encouraging messages from Ellen DeGeneres herself.

The GapKids x ED collection is built on Gap’s most loved wardrobe staples, but with an impactful twist, for girls and a selection for boys and adults as well. The collection prominently features two pieces of iconography:  the lightning bolt, a symbol of empowerment, and the speech bubble, a symbol of self-expression. Ellen DeGeneres to launch new seasonal home collection created especially for QVC, E.D. On Air

WEST CHESTER, Pa, 2014-10-16— /EPR Retail News/ — Ellen DeGeneres, who announced the creation of her new lifestyle collection, E.D., in July, will launch E.D. On Air, a new seasonal home collection created especially for QVC, on Friday, October 24 at 8 PM (ET). DeGeneres will broadcast live from the Los Angeles set of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to debut the line.

E.D. On Air will bring together DeGeneres’ love of design, home décor and holiday gift giving across multiple product categories. A noted expert on home design and renovation, DeGeneres’ homes have been extensively covered in publications such as The New York Times, Elle Décor and Architectural Digest. Her first foray into product design will include holiday trim, a selection of holiday tabletop items, throws, scented candles and other decorative accents and gift ideas.
