“Run, don’t walk to Wendy’s for a Double Stack. With a quarter pound of fresh beef for a dollar, there’s no reason to go anywhere else,” said Kurt Kane, chief concept and marketing officer for Wendy’s. “Fair warning, though, you better get it before it’s gone because a deal this good won’t last long.”

Made with fresh, never-frozen beef,2 Wendy’s signature Double Stack is served on a warm bun and topped with a slice of American cheese, crunchy crinkle-cut dill pickles, fresh white onions, ketchup and mustard.

While Wendy’s quality is here to stay, this deal won’t last forever. The $1 Double Stack is available for a limited time at participating Wendy’slocations.3

Good news for those folks, Wendy’s is also obsessed!  To celebrate this obsession, Wendy’s created three new limited-time Queso products – the Bacon Queso Burger, Bacon Queso Chicken Sandwich and Bacon Queso Fries. Inspired by the queso obsessed, for the queso obsessed.

“Simply put, people are going to go crazy for our new queso products because they are just that good,” said Wendy’s Chief Concept & Marketing Officer, Kurt Kane. “Nobody does fresh beef, chicken sandwiches and topped fries like Wendy’s, so we’ve taken three things our customers already love and made them even better by adding queso.”

For a limited time, Wendy’s will offer two Bacon Queso sandwich options – either with a quarter pound of Wendy’s fresh, never-frozen beef or a Homestyle chicken breast – both sandwiched between a red jalapeno bun. Topped with fire roasted salsa, fresh red onions, thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon and all-natural shredded cheddar cheese, the main event is hands-down the poblano queso cheese sauce – the final touch that brings a flavor experience that only Wendy’s can deliver.

And because one can never truly cure that queso obsession, Wendy’s has also developed the perfect, cheesy side item – Bacon Queso Fries. A flavorful fusion of poblano Queso cheese sauce and cheddar cheese melted over Wendy’s natural-cut sea salt fries, the new Bacon Queso Fries are topped with thick-cut Applewood Smoked Bacon, creating a crave-worthy companion.

The Bacon Queso Burger and the Chicken Sandwich have a suggested retail price of $4.99 and $5.39, respectively. The Bacon Queso fries have a suggested price of $2.49.

The salad comes with a juicy twist, presenting mango – the world’s most consumed fruit – to star alongside sweet, hand-cut strawberries for a refreshing summer salad.

Year after year, Wendy’s continues to introduce craveable, seasonal summer salads, and now adds the sweet Strawberry Mango Chicken Salad to the list. While mango flavors have been a trending ingredient in beverages at fast food restaurants, Wendy’s goes a step further by including the juicy fruit as the topping to its new salad menu offering. A mango reaches peak ripeness during summer, making a healthy indulgence for customers and a delicious complement to Wendy’s freshly made salads.

“At Wendy’s we are known for serving top quality salads that start with a bed of hand-chopped lettuce that is cut fresh in our restaurants every single day. Most other places don’t take the time to do that,” said Kurt Kane, Chief Concept & Marketing Officer. “Our new Strawberry Mango salad adds freshly sliced strawberries, sweet mangoes and freshly grilled chicken to create a deliciously different flavor combination for the summer.”

Each Wendy’s restaurant receives shipments of fresh produce two to three times a week. Crisp heads of lettuce and ripe strawberries are hand-cut in-restaurant daily to create the Strawberry Mango Chicken Salad, ensuring a freshness you can taste. The sweet taste of mango and strawberry is paired with the tangy hint of crumbled feta cheese, and added crunch of sunflower seeds. The salad is topped with all-white meat grilled chicken breast and drizzled with a Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Honey Citrus Vinaigrette. The full-sized entree satisfies a full day’s worth of vegetables and one serving of fruit. It is 470 calories and $6.59, while the half-size salad is 280 calories and $4.59, respectively.

Consumers can find the seasonal Strawberry Mango Chicken Salad at participating Wendy’s now until Labor Day.

Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Salad
Like all of Wendy’s salads, the Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Salad begins with a signature blend of spring mix and full heads of iceberg and romaine lettuce that are hand chopped daily in restaurant. The salad is topped with warm, freshly-grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella cheese, juicy grape tomatoes and crunchy French bread croutons. It is then drizzled with a creamy basil pesto sauce and finished with Marzetti®Simply Dressed® Light Balsamic Vinaigrette. Offering a full days’ worth of veggies, everyone can indulge in this bold, yet simple salad, taking in 510 calories for the fully-dressed and full-sized entrée salad.

Consumers can find this new salad for a limited time priced at $6.49* for a full-size entrée and $4.49* for the half-size entrée.

Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich
Starting with Wendy’s premium all-white meat grilled chicken breast, the Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich layers flavors of fresh mozzarella cheese, house-made balsamic diced tomatoes and a drizzle of creamy basil pesto, topped with spring mix on a garlic brioche bun. Wendy’s Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich serves up 41 grams of protein with only 420 calories and will be available for a limited time and priced at $5.29*.

On Selection Sunday, Wendy’s will kick off its partnership and title as the Official Hamburger of the NCAA with the Drive to the Final Four. A three-week long road trip that celebrates NCAA fans’ dedication to going great lengths, the Wendy’s Drive to the Final Four road trip will honor commitment to going the extra mile for what you love, like always serving hamburgers made with fresh, never frozen beef1 or driving hundreds of miles to support your team.

Drive to the Final Four
Kicking off on Selection Sunday, March 12, and ending on Final Four Weekend in Phoenix, March 31-April 3, the road trip will stop at three college campuses –Xavier University, Butler University and University of Louisville—and at the first and second round tournament in Indianapolis, the Midwest regional tournament in Kansas City and the Final Four Championship Tournament.
