Celerant Technology Tops the RIS LeaderBoard for Sixth Year in a Row

Celerant Technology Corp has again been ranked as a leading retail software vendor for 2012. In the RIS News LeaderBoard’s Top 20 Overall Retail Software Companies, Celerant Technology, a mid-size vendor of retail management systems, was again highly ranked amongst several well-known software giants.

“We are honored that RIS News continues to recognize us as a leading Mid-Size retail software vendor,” said Ian Goldman, President and CEO of Celerant Technology Corp. “This year we broadened our retail concentration by expanding our mobile offerings to include M-Commerce, Mobile POS, and Celerant’s Mobile Suite of Applications. We strive to make continuous advancements to our retail software package and to maintain a high level of customer support and satisfaction.

Celerant is a leader in the retail software industry, providing real-time, all-in-one retail management systems for multi-channel enterprises. Celerant has been recognized as a Mid-Size Vendor Leader and a Leader in Overall Performance for over five years, and is identified as a high ranking leader for Customer Satisfaction, Apparel/Footwear and Specialty Retailing, Recommendation, Technology Innovation, and a leader for Broad Suites.

“Celerant Technology is a highly regarded software company that has a focused business model and executes it extremely well,” stated Joe Skorupa, Group Editor-In-Chief of RIS News. “The approach can produce solutions that excel in innovation, ease of use, value and customer satisfaction. It is extremely hard to adopt an end-to-end solution approach that requires vision, resources, and expertise in a wide range of technical and business functions. Celerant Technology pulls off this difficult feat as judged by retailers voting in the RIS Software Leaderboard where it has appeared in the top 10 among nearly 50 vendors rated for the past six years in a row.”

For 12 years, the RIS LeaderBoard study has asked retailers to evaluate the technology companies that are essential to their business. This year the LeaderBoard received feedback from over 300 retail executives. To ensure objectivity, a third-party research firm is responsible for the data collection and analysis.
