Fashion bloggers Carla Lemos (Modices), Cris Guerra (Hoje vou Assim) and Lia Camargo (Just Lia) to put their signatures to Carrefour’s Tex range of clothing and accessories

Promoting up-and-coming talent to offer consumers the latest fashions: Carrefour continues with a successful strategy

São Paulo, 2014-4-4 — /EPR Retail News/ — Autumn and winter in Brazil promise to be more colourful than ever – thanks to Carrefour. The retailer has strengthened its partnerships with fashion bloggers and invited guest designers Carla Lemos (Modices), Cris Guerra (Hoje vou Assim) and Lia Camargo (Just Lia) to put their signatures to the autumn/winter collection of its Tex range of clothing and accessories. Together these three bloggers have over 321,000 followers in Facebook and 180,000 in Instagram.

Reflecting the diversity of consumer profiles found in its stores, the three bloggers put their name to different but equally feminine looks inspired by three global fashion trends: Grunge, Folk and Basic. Carla, Cris and Lia have already appeared in magazines wearing their own creations in everyday situations, showing off the beauty and fit of the garments. Prices range from 15.90 to 119.90 reais.

The collection reflects Carrefour’s commitment to offering its consumers quality products at accessible prices.

The campaign: The campaign organized by our marketing department for the launch of the new collection includes a live fashion parade on the TV show Mulheres, presented by Cátia Fonseca, a supplement in a weekly women’s magazine, promotion in blogs by specialists such as Glória Kalil and Gustavo Sarti, and Instagram spots by celebrities including Mariana Rios, Sabrina Sato, Ana Maria Braga and Luisa Mell. On a regional level, Carrefour has established partnerships with leading blogs such as Onça de Tule, Coisas de Diva and The Fashion Blog.

The collection: Carrefour’s autumn/winter Tex collection has something for all the family. The women’s range draws inspiration from the Folk look of colder climates (floral prints on dark grounds) and Grunge (checker and animal patterns), and also features a Basic line that’s good for all styles and occasions.

The men’s range is modern and comfortable, with an emphasis on t-shirts with urban landscapes and basic garments that combine with jeans and varsity jackets.

For kids, there are bodysuits and jumpsuits with printed Disney characters, and matching kits of gloves and slippers. The big surprise in the collection is the range of bed, table and bath linen, with floral prints and geometric patterns.
