Halle, Belgium, 2016-Oct-12 — /EPR Retail News/ — Colruyt makes things easy for its customers with the new, simple and functional ‘MyColruyt’ smartphone app. It enables you to shop even more efficiently and quickly. The distributor thus continues his digital efforts. The application is available for Android and iOS.
A digital shopping list
Helping customers prepare for shopping more easily, that’s what this Colruyt app is all about. And that’s why it focuses on the shopping list. Customers can compose their list from the whole range of products in their Colruyt store by entering general terms (coffee, butter or milk as in a traditional shopping list) or specific products (Graindor Mocha ground coffee 500 g for instance). Or they select ingredients from one of the 6,000 Colruyt recipes in the app. Products with Red Price or Extra discount can also be added to the list.
Custom-made for the customer
By means of the Extra card, the app also focuses on personalisation for the customer’s comfort. If he logs in with the card, he can save his favourite products and consult all current prices in his Colruyt store. With MyColruyt, he can also add products from his personal offers or most recent receipt. Moreover, Colruyt developed a ‘gluten’ filter showing customers whether a recipe or private label product is gluten-free. In time, more filters will be added.
Open Wi-Fi at the store
A few months ago, nearly all 230 Colruyt stores started offering open Wi-Fi. An ideal addition to MyColruyt enabling customers to quickly find what they are looking for.
