Croix Cedex, France, 2016-Dec-21 — /EPR Retail News/ — On December 12, Auchan Retail Ukraine was awarded the “Reduction of Inequalities” Trophy in the National Competition for the Best CSR Projects, “Business for Change”
This initiative, which is based on the 10th objective of the UN Sustainable Development programme, is organized every year in Ukraine by the Association “CSR Development Center”, which brings together the best practices of companies in this field, and have been analyzed by international experts.
Auchan Retail was rewarded for its involvement with the Rodyna association within the framework of the Auchan Youth Foundation (I feel the world and it includes me), to learn alternative communication to children with disabilities.
35 projects were submitted in 9 categories related to the various sustainable development objectives of the United Nations. 26 companies participating in different fields (logistics, retail, agriculture, petrole, legal, etc.) were evaluated by an international jury of experts (India, Turkey, Bulgaria, Latvia, Belgium, Israel) according to the originality, the innovation, the employee involvement, the relevance and the impact of each project.
