LONDON, 2014-9-2 — /EPR Retail News/ — Stradivarius, the global women’s fashion and accessories brand, has opened its first UK store at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, London. The store will be the UK flagship for the Stradivarius brand, and extends its presence to 877 stores in some 60 countries. Stradivarius’s first UK store opening follows the successful launch of a UK e-commerce site for the brand in October 2013.
The Stradivarius store at Westfield Stratford will showcase the brand’s new “Bohème” store concept, which brings together opposing styles – including industrial and romantic – in an open, modernist space totaling almost 400 square metres. The store has opened in time to present the brand’s Autumn 2014 collections to Westfield Stratford’s established customer base of stylish young shoppers.
Stradivarius, which has particular appeal for women aged 20 to 35, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. There are now over 100 stores in the UK under the Inditex group which include six brands (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Zara Home, and now also Stradivarius). Meanwhile, all eight Inditex brands are available online in the UK.
