“Our team at PetSmart has created one of the most comprehensive holiday collections with hundreds of ideas to bring our pets into the spirit of the season including an even wider array of human-inspired pet treats that mirror many of the foods we enjoy over the holidays,” said Eran Cohen, chief customer experience officer, PetSmart. “From appetizer-themed treats like the cheese and sausage snack tray to a Merry Meals Turkey, Sweet Potato and Cranberry dinner, sweet potato pie slices, macaroons and holiday frosted cookies, pets can savor the season with food items similar to those enjoyed by their human best friends.”
Cohen said there are also fun holiday pet costumes, apparel and accessory items for dressing up pets, lots of toy options and fresh home décor products such as holiday-themed pet beds – a gift for you and your pet.
Festive Styling
Get your pet photo-ready for holiday parties, family photo ops and all the special moments of the season with a range of costumes and accessories like Santa and reindeer costumes, festive plaid collars with bow tie treatments and adorable sweaters featuring a hipster reindeer. Holiday hair bows, doggie socks and reindeer antler headbands add an extra special touch. PetSmart also has a wide range of costumes for small pets, such as guinea pigs, with Santa, elf and reindeer themes.
Gifting
Include pets by tucking gifts especially for them under the tree or by hanging a stocking, like the cable knit paw-print stocking, on the mantle. Furry friends are sure to enjoy seasonal toys like the holiday emotions toys, along with fun bouncy ball toys featuring Santa. Gifts that Give Back
Continuing the tradition, PetSmart offers holiday products that give back to pets in need. Items in this collection include the classic collectible plush toys, Lucky and Chance, as well as seven pet-themed throws with sayings like “I just want to drink wine and pet my dog.” Also included are over-sized plush pets featuring dogs, a penguin and a reindeer – the perfect gift for kids and pets alike. Through Dec. 25, 2016, PetSmart will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the sales of these items to PetSmart Charities to help pets in need. Last year, this program raised $1 million for the nonprofit organization.

Bring out the entire family, and of course your four-legged family members, for a festive holiday photo with Santa Claus. PetSmart will have Santa on hand for photo ops at all stores Dec. 10-11, 12-4 p.m. local time.
