Kmart Pharmacy becomes a preferred partner in many 2017 Medicare Part D plans

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., 2016-Nov-23 — /EPR Retail News/ — Many Medicare Part D members can now turn to Kmart Pharmacy as their 2017 preferred provider for pharmaceutical needs. Medicare Part D members can receive substantial savings in their copays, including copays as low as $1, when they fill their prescriptions through a preferred network pharmacy such as Kmart Pharmacy.

In addition to preferred pricing, members receive the benefit of a team of expert pharmacists who provide personalized care and trusted advice for their healthcare needs. Kmart pharmacists offer care beyond the counter, including advice on everything from prescription coverage to over the counter medications.”Kmart Pharmacy is central to Sears Holdings’ health and wellness strategy, which expands beyond prescription services to provide both treatment and preventive care,” said Phil Keough, president of Kmart Pharmacy. “We are thrilled to offer the added benefit of being a preferred pharmacy and the ability to offer low copays to customers enrolled in Medicare Part D plans that offer preferred cost sharing. Kmart Pharmacy is well positioned through our pharmacists and techs to help create better outcomes for our pharmacy members and payor partners by driving medication adherence and persistency via face to face counseling and intervention.”Kmart Pharmacies are in the preferred retail pharmacy network for 2017 Medicare Part D plans available nationwide and in Puerto Rico offered by the following companies*:
